Real-Time WebRTC
Stream video and exchange control data across networks using WebRTC. Puffin and the controller device connect to the internet and use a signaling server to establish the remote session.
Add live video and responsive remote control to robots, RC vehicles, and connected projects without assembling a full computer stack.
Stream video and exchange control data across networks using WebRTC. Puffin and the controller device connect to the internet and use a signaling server to establish the remote session.
Operate your project from a PC, Mac, or phone through a web browser or supported app. Puffin is designed for remote operation across different networks, not only within the same local Wi-Fi network.
A 60 × 32 mm, approximately 10 g Linux board with camera support, Ethernet, PWM, UART, GPIO, I²C, and microSD storage for robotics and DIY integration.

5V/1A power adapter and an internet connection for both Puffin and the controller device.
Yes. Puffin WiFi uses WebRTC for real-time video and control across different networks. Both Puffin and the controller device need internet access to reach the signaling server and establish the remote connection.
You can control Puffin from a PC, Mac, or phone through a web browser or supported app.
No. This is the Wi-Fi-only version of Puffin and supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It does not include cellular connectivity.
The included MIPI camera operates at 640 × 480 and 30 fps. Puffin also supports Ethernet IP cameras up to 4K at 30 fps, with H.264 and H.265 encoding and decoding.
Puffin provides four PWM outputs, two UART interfaces including one dedicated debug UART, three GPIO connections, and an I²C interface. I²C software validation is still in progress.
Puffin accepts 3.2–19 V DC input. A 5V/1A power adapter is recommended for the Starter Kit and is not included.
The kit includes the Puffin WiFi board, MIPI camera, Wi-Fi antenna, 4GB microSD card, power cable, Ethernet cable, and UART debug cable.
